Every airport page

The six things you need before you land.

Most airport websites hide the prayer room under “services”, with no word on security or wuḍūʾ. We put the same six answers on every page, with a link to the source and the date we checked it.

Where it is

Terminal, gate, level and a landmark you can spot.

Before or after security

So you know if you can pray on a layover without leaving.

Opening hours

Some rooms close at night. We say so when the airport does.

Wuḍūʾ

A washing area or foot basin, or “not stated” when the airport is silent.

Space for women

A separate room, a partition, or shared space only.

Qibla

The bearing from true north, and whether the room has a marker.

Ask for a room

No room listed? Ask the airport.

Airports have added rooms after travellers and faith groups asked. Seattle reopened its room in 2017 (Northwest Dharma) and Houston opened a washing room in 2024 (Houston Airports).

Every airport page links to that airport’s own feedback page, with a short, polite message you can copy and send yourself.

We never send anything in your name and don’t collect your details. We only count how many visitors opened the feedback page.

Women’s spaces

Women’s privacy is often undocumented.

Many airports don’t say whether women have a private place to pray. We track it on every page, and the message to the airport asks about it when it isn’t stated.

How we check

Official sources, with dates.

The airport’s own page

Each fact starts from the airport’s website or an official release, linked on the listing. Anything from elsewhere is marked “Not from the airport”.

A date on every source

Each listing shows when we last checked its source.

Traveller reports, reviewed

Reports wait for an editor to check them against the airport. Nothing goes live on its own.
